Red Flags On The Roofs

Recently my country celebrated 108th year of independence, also known as the Flag Day because at the same day nearly 600 years ago in 1443, the two-headed eagle flag waived proudly to claim the autonomy from Ottoman conquest. And thanks to our predecessors’ bravery and determination we celebrate this day by raising the flag toward the sky in our roofs (well, that’s exaggerated, but anyway). From balconies, roofs with old shingles and darkened chimneys resting on rooftop echos the song of freedom.
